If you have children in any aspect of your lives and you are looking for other activities for their entertainment, check out the Hawaii Children's Discovery Center at Kakaako Park. Although my children are grown, I was amazed at this wonderful find. I went here initially for a brief meeting with the director and was given a tour of the facility which encompasses several floors.

They've thought of everything! There are miniature settings of a bank with ATM machine, a grocery store with cashier, a doctor's office, etc. They also have a section which introduces the child to the various cultures we have here in Hawaii as well as the seasons of the year. It's very interactive and educational. Talk about a hidden treasure for our keiki.
