BlackBerry Plans

Looking at the websites, if you buy a BlackBerry, besides paying for the talk plan, you'll have to pay an additional $30 per line (data access). Compare Family Plans with two BB's.
ATT: Two lines, $90 for 1400 minutes (text is extra) plus $30 + $30 = $150. If additional lines, it's $10 (for adding a line) + $30 = $40 per line.
Verizon: Two lines, $90 for 1400 minutes (text is additional $20) plus $30 + $30 = $150 (or $170 with texting), additional line $10 + $30 = $40 per line.
Sprint: Two lines, $130 TOTAL for 1500 minutes, includes unlimited texting, data, GPS and calls to other cell phones (exception is if you're roaming and calling during peak minutes), additional line, $20 per line.
TMobile: Two lines $80 for 1500 minutes (texting extra) - looking at website, looks like you pay $30 + $30 for BB = $140, additional line, $10 + $30 = $40 per line.

Remember, save $5 per month, it's $60 per year, $20 per month, $240 per year.

See your HR at work and see if you qualify for a company discount.

Look at Best Buy and Radio Shack, ONLINE and watch for the best phone deals for the various carriers. they run specials and are sometimes cheaper than the carrier's website. the discounts are instant, rather than pay up front and apply for a rebate.
the prices may vary weekly.
